Welcome to the Print Fresh Press Blog!

I started Print Fresh Press because after moving my business, Art of Cannabis Co, back to my home state of Oklahoma, I realized that I could offer a greater value to cannabis companies needing creative, branding, marketing, and content services with specialty print and design services. I started Art of Cannabis at the beginning of 2020, in Albuquerque, and over the past several years my family realized that it wasn’t the right fit for us. I knew my business would have a chance to thrive in other markets, and I missed home: I grew up in McAlester, and am an Okie through and through.

Because I’m from Oklahoma, I understand the culture and the people, and my desire to work with small batch companies paired with my desire to give my daughter the kind of childhood I had, made choosing to move my family home an easy decision.

I landed here in Oklahoma on February 5, 2023 as a content creator, ready to help brands with their content needs. Coming from a state where cannabis companies didn’t care much about marketing or branding to a market where marketing and branding is so essential, was an exciting experience. I believe Oklahoma is likely one of the most competitive cannabis markets in the world, and and some truly exquisite flower and hash is produced here. After doing content here for a few months, I realized that branding and packaging and shelf appeal of packaging drives more sales than social media content (not that content isn’t important – I just believe there are plenty of patients shopping in dispensaries here who aren’t really looking at Instagram) and that I was in a unique position to produce premium packaging for small batch companies. We received our Roland LG540 at the end of July 2023, and offer a full service, premium design + print process that includes professional design at no added cost to our regular print clients.

My vision for this blog is that it will become a resource for premium small batch packaging design for hash and flower on the web. I’ll be reviewing hardware I’ve tested, featuring illustrators doing excellent work in the packaging game, posting video tutorials, how-tos, editorial, and so much more.
